So, after much procrastination, I have finally bothered to update this journal with some pics from Supernova. No idea why, but my laptop isn't recognising that the power cable is plugged in and it's running on battery power, so I'm gunna make this short and simple.

On a rather average Saturday morning in June, 11 lolitas woke up before the sun even came up to trod their way into Sydney CBD. Rather cold and hungry (in my case) we waited pleasantly enough, wrapped up in coats, at Town Hall steps for all our new friends to arrive - only to be bombarded with idiotic scene kids asking us to "touch his pocket."
Having thoroughly ignored said requests, at 10am we made our way into the QVB to have delicious traditional afternoon tea (...in the morning?). Having managed to squeeze 7 of us into an old rusty elevator, we managed to arrive safely and enjoyed the company of others and of course, the food and the place! We even thoroughly enjoyed the hotel like corridor that led us to the bathroom. Once again we tested the elevator limits by cramming as many people as we could into it, where upon we made our way to Hyde Park to take some more photos.
The afternoon continued with photos of various natures, even trying to cram 11 or so lolitas into a tiny puri kura booth.

In all, it was a fantastic day where I made a lot of new friends and had so much fun, the only downside was some wench who threw soda (lemonade) over her shoulder and all over the back of my dress -sadface-. But apart from that, all the girls looked amazing (I've ended the day with some serious petticoat envy) and I really hope we can have another day just like it very soon! ♥

Yesterday went to lolifest. Basically was a picnic at Botannical Gardens. I didn't really hang out with most of the girls, only really the canberra lolitas and Cming, Ryan and Tarou. T'was quite fun and I was really happy to meet the canberra girls they were very nice and we got along quite well.

Got the disk yesterday with all the photos. There were a good 400 photos on the disk and like 99% of them were unusable because the photographer is a moron. I kept trying to tell him that if you take photos in direct sunlight we might as well not be in them! ARGH. Such an idiot. I tried to salvage some of the photos, I was lucky I had a parasol, cause that shaded my face in most of the photos.

Argh, what an idiot. There were so many good shots ruined by the lighting! MORON!

Anyway, I did what I can, tried a new thing editting-wise. Hope you like etc.

In other not new- news. I 'ate the HSC!

Ok, so since I don't particularly feel like studying, here are some pictures from the formal. As of yet been too lazy to get the photos off the camera which I took to the actual event, so these pictures are the one's from the pre-formals.

My sister had the unfortunate task of using my camera, so out of like a billion shots these are the only ones semi in focus. So I apologise.

So that's some for now.

Basically, for those who don't know (basically everybody), I lost my wallet at some point during the formal night, unknown whether it was stolen or I simply took it out and left it on a table and forget, or it fell out. No idea.

So the actual formal was pretty average, the food was nice, but the DJ sucked, and everybody knows how awkward I am. I'm not a social butterfly and so I was just like... so many people, what do I do, what do I do!! And on top of that, my feet caned like a mother on fire, so I had to spend majority of the night sitting down.
I was really looking forward to the after party so I could get hammered and stop being so very incredibly awkward. But when I got to the afterparty (which was about 20 minute bus ride away from the venue of the formal), I had discovered my wallet was gone, with it my $50, my credit card, all my library cards/easyway/etc, photographs - and my ID. So really that just ruined my night, I ran in lolita all the way around the city back to where the bus had dropped us off (I'm sure it was a comical sight) in hopes it hadn't left and that it had fallen in the bus. Alas, no bus. In the end I couldn't stop crying because it had ruined all my plans and my night in general, so I just took a taxi home and cried myself to sleep. Pathetic as it sounds that's the events of that night.

My wallet is still MIA, however I've replaced the licence, library card and credit card, which are the main thing. Just a massive pain in the rectum and has so far cost me around $80 (or more so my dad... haha). Which just sucks!

So yes, couldn't say that the formal was really worth it.

In other news, can't imagine I'll be on here much, exams commence in 15 days and need to get my ass in gear and do some hardcore studying. So not much planned, yesterday did a lolita shoot with schwurlie but a little pessismistic about the results. Will have those up too when I get them. Fiddler on Friday night for Giselles birthday, will drive. And lolita meet coming up on the 10th. All very exciting.
